Essay Submission and Qualification Rules

Essay Topic:

”What does Beauty & Brains mean to me?”

Eligibility:

1. Open to girls currently in grades 7-12.

2. Must be a U.S. resident enrolled in middle or high school.

3. Only one essay per applicant will be accepted.

Submission Guidelines

1. Essays must be typed, double-spaced, using 12-point Times New Roman font.

2. Word count must be between 500-750 words.

3. Submit your essay through the official form using the button below.

4. Include a cover page with the following:
- Full Name
- Grade
- School Name
- City & State
- Parent/Guardian Contact Info
- Student Email Address

Deadline:

All essays must be submitted by July 20th at 11:59PM CST.
Late Submissions will not be accepted.

Judging Criteria:

Essays will be judged on:
- Connection to the theme
- Originality and creativity
- Grammar, spelling, and structure
- Personal insight and reflection

Participation & Attendance Requirements:

All essay participants must attend the Beauty & Brains Brunch to be eligible to win.

Winners will be announced live at the event.

If a selected winner is not present, the prize will be awarded to the runner-up.

Prizes & Recognition:

Winners will receive scholarship money to support back-to-school needs.

All participants will receive a gift pack including:
- School Supplies
- Hygiene essentials
- Beauty and hair care products
